I was born again and filled with God's Spirit

in June of 1967, in the US Navy, aboard the

aircraft carrier, CVA 59 USS Forrestal.

My soul was shipwrecked and I didn't know it. God's

wonderful grace through Jesus, lead me to ask for

forgiveness of sin and ask Jesus to come into my life. Jesus

cleansed me from all sin and washed me with his blood shed

on Calvary's tree. Now my name is in the Book of Life.

The Lord has been real to me from a child. Jesus has

revealed himself to me in wonders, miracles and in the

filling of his precious spirit, The Holy Ghost.

I Love JESUS and in May of 1970, I gave my heart to the Lord and was filled

with His Spirit. I had a mom and dad who taught me that Jesus is Real. I've

been blessed with a good husband who Loves and Serves the Lord - and

throughout our life together we have always known we have "A Friend in

Jesus". Someone we can turn to in good times & hard times, smiles & tears.

He wants us to put our trust in Him, lean on Him and let Him carry our burdens.

We were blessed with five children (one of which was only with us for a very

short time - but we know she's waiting for us, with Jesus in Heaven) and many

grandchildren. We have given them to the Lord and pray for them daily asking

that God's plans for their lives come to pass. They, too, are

trusting the Lord Jesus.

I pray that your heart will be touched while visiting this page and if you do not

Jesus is Real

When I was young, I was asked by an acquaintance in my town to find his graduation ring. This ring was lost in a lake called Spring Grove, located in Chepachet, RI. I was going swimming there. With an offer to pay me 2 dollars if I find it, I made this search my job. I swam a long time looking for that ring and found nothing. While coming out of the water, I saw a small hoop of hemp rope. With the water behind me I picked up the hoop of rope and said, “ Jesus if you’re REAL, let this rope, fall on that ring". I immediately threw that hoop over my right shoulder and then turned around to see the spot where the hoop had fallen. I walked out about where the rope hoop fell and dove down to the bottom. With eyes opened, I saw the ring right in the middle of the hoop of rope, where I had just walked many times over searching. This ring was in the very center of the hoop and right on top of the sandy bottom. I believe the Lord's will then was to reveal Himself to me and show me He is REAL. I never received the 2 dollars and cannot tell you, this day, the person’s name that I returned the ring too. Many other times Jesus showed Himself to me in special ways. I know, He is REAL and wishes all to come to this realization.

This story is TRUE. I am a living Testimony, of the Majesty and True existence of Jesus Christ.

It's Gone

A little while after marriage, my wife and I visited the town where I was raised, Chepachet, RI. While driving on Tanyard Lane, we met my nephews, Roy and Wayne, who lived in Chepachet. I wanted to tell Roy how much God loved him and wanted him to live for Him. While speaking out of the driver’s side of my car, I began to tell him what was on my heart. He couldn’t listen because he had a bad toothache that morning and didn’t want to hear what I had to say right then. I reached out of my window and touched the side of his cheek where the ache was and said, “In the name of JESUS”. The toothache instantly stopped, he had no pain. He began to slap his cheek where the toothache had been and said to his brother who was standing on the passenger side of the car, “Wayne, it’s gone, it’s gone”. I told him that God wanted him to get a New Testament bible and read it, because the Lord wanted to bless him.

Jesus wants you too, to read His Word and be blessed and have eternal life with Him.

The Oil of Gladness

At or about 1969, I was just married a little while living on Rockland Rd. Scituate, RI., my wife and I decided to go to the beach. We discussed getting a tan there. My wife brought, with us, a bottle of Johnson’s baby oil to rub on our skin and we believed this would help give us a nice tan. This oil is not sunscreen and I got a bad sun burn, I became very sick. On the drive home I began seeing double and a stop sign right in front of me went double and I began to get the chills. This was mid summer and the temperature was in the high 80’s or 90’s.When we got home my temperature was I believe about 105 and I got in bed and was freezing. I covered with blankets and we did not have air condition. We didn’t think to go to a doctor or anything like that.

My wife, mean time, was praying for the Lord to heal or comfort me. This is what happened. While in my bed I felt as if a warm oil flowed over my head and flowed down to my feet. I was healed and the fever was gone. My skin was burned where we rubbed the baby oil, but no fever, and I began to tell others about what just happened. I went to neighbors and told them.

In the Bible there is scripture that says:

Psalms 121:6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

Also another scripture is this:

Psalms 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Also another:

Psalms 45:7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

I believe that Jesus sent his angel to pour this heavenly oil of gladness and He healed me. Jesus is Real and I wish all to know this. Many other times the Lord did wonders with prayer. Jesus healed fevers that my children had. My wife and I laid our hand on them and commanded the fever to leave and right then, under our hand their fever left.

I pray this true story will increase your faith and you, too, will become a believer in Jesus Christ, the Son of the one and only True God, The Father.

God tells us to come to Him in this way

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Pray this to receive Jesus in your life

Lord Jesus, I know that you died for me and rose from the dead on the third day.

I know that you are Real and I want to live for you. Forgive all my sins and come

into my heart. Amen and Amen

A reminder to think about your Heavenly Father and how much He

really loves you. His will is, we assemble with other believers

and have fellowship one with another.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
